The City of Chesterfield

The newly constructed Chesterfield Amphitheater located in Central Park overlooks the park’s lake and gazebo, creating a beautiful backdrop for the new activities being held here.
The City of Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Department is currently responsible for and maintains over 380 acres of park and public land, including six parks, beautification and rights-of-way areas, and public grounds.  Recently, the City of Chesterfield built an incredible amphitheater overlooking the lake in Central Park.  Opened in May, the amphitheater has the capacity to accomodate around 3,000 patrons with both fixed seating and open lawn seating, which is perfect for hosting events!   The new summer concert series continues through August and features a variety of bands and artists, including That 80’s Band and Erin Bode.  Also offered this summer are movie nights at the new amphitheater.  Starting at sunset on July 8, Eat, Pray, Love is showing, and Toy Story 3 will be showing on August 5.  To find more details about the free concerts and movies, visit http://www.chesterfieldamphitheater.com!  For more information about new features of Chesterfield parks, summer activities, and more projects underway, visitchesterfield.mo.us/parks-recreation.html.Location:  Central Park
