One of the biggest things that you can do forbanner care is to make sure that you are storing your banners correctly when you have to put them away. You want to make sure that you aren’t putting the letters on each other so that they are touching and potentially damaging themselves. You also want to make sure that you are storing your vinyl banners in a good location, you don’t want to store it somewhere where it will be damaged by the sun, and so make sure it is a cool, dark, dry location.

Clean Your Banners Properly

Another important factor to maintaining the quality of your banners is cleaning them properly. It is very important, depending on what the banner signs are made of, that you clean them with items that are safe for them. So, you don’t want to use a harsh chemical on these banners, you want to make sure that you don’t damage them when you are trying to clean them. It is so important to make sure that you are cleaning your banners with the right stuff.

Hang Your Banners Safely

Another important factor is that you need to take into account when you are trying to care for your banners is that you need to make sure that you are hanging your banners correctly. An important part of banner care is hanging your banners. You don’t want your banners to hit the ground or to fall apart because you aren’t hanging them correctly. Make sure that you have the right tools and the right set up so that you are able to hang your banners properly and ensure that they are going to look great and be safe hanging.

It is not unusual for me to get a phone call requesting a price for wrapping. The caller inevitably says, ‘Maaco was only a few hundred dollars for a paint job’ or ‘That’s a lot less than painting!’ I became curious: Why do some of my callers think our vehicle wrap pricing is reasonable, while others scream bloody murder over the cost compared to painting? I found the simple answer to be that painting varies just as the quality of a wrapped vehicle varies.

I’m no expert on vehicle painting but it is my understanding a vehicle should be sanded, painted and primed. Then, it is actually painted. Just like other processes, the quality of the paint can make a huge difference. The vehicle is usually out of commission for two weeks. That being said, I’ve recently learned you can skip the first steps and go right to the painting to decrease the cost. So, a $500 Maaco paint job can seem like a great deal, but not include all the extras and look awful in a few years when it needs to be redone.

If you have been considering a vehicle wrap in lieu of a paint job, consider why you might choose a wrap. A car wrap is removable. Wrapping a vehicle means you can include various visual tricks you can’t achieve with paint. This might mean logo vehicle branding or digital logo images. Wraps last about 5-7 years and are completed in just two days. The box truck wrap can go over rivets, too. Wrapping, once removed, does not lower the value of your car.

On the other hand, if you have a highly specialized cherry apple neon rainbow color in mind, wrapping your car could be significantly more expensive. Maybe you only intend to keep a vehicle for a few years and don’t need any vehicle branding. It’s entirely up to you. Either way, vehicle wrapping and car painting costs can vary greatly, so buyer beware!
