Dee Hencken and Felicia Cox have been designing beautiful rooms together throughout the homes of St. Louis for over 25 years. After becoming frustrated while searching for unique furnishings and accessories, Dee decided to open her own showroom in Chesterfield Valley – Ooh La La Homes Furnishings. Traveling to markets several times a year (both domestically and abroad) provides Dee with unlimited choices of only the highest quality and most tastefully designed furnishings and accessories.
Though the look is mainly Old World European, the Ooh La La showroom has a variety of alternative styles including transitional and classic European Cottage. The store offers everything needed for a home, from furniture, accessories, paintings and lamps, to mirrors, floral arrangements, blinds and window treatments.
At Express Blinds and Draperies, you’ll find more than great window coverings. Whether you’re shopping for a single window treatment, redocorating your entire house or seeking the solution to a complex design challenge, you’ll find great people who have the knowledge and expertise to help you put it all together.
Locally owned and operated, the folks at Ooh La La and Express Blinds take pride in serving the community for the long term. Whether you’re looking for that perfect piece for your home or you need a complete design plan for your home or commercial space, nowhere else in St. Louis does a retail store offer such a sophisticated selection of treasures and personal attention. About the sign: A little refurbishing and a full graphic wrap by Landmark Sign Company makes this box truck stand out as Ooh La La pulls up to make another home or office looks great. The distinctive and tasteful logos on the move help spread the names throughout the St. Louis community.
About the sign: As one can see from comparing these two before and after pictures, Ooh La La needed help with the lighting of their sign. When the aging lighted channel letters began to fade, the owners called on Landmark to fix the problem. Replacing the worn out neon tube lighting with energy efficient, bright white LED lighting was the answer to get the sign lighting far into the future and save on energy and maintenance costs.
