Gambrill Gardens is an affordable not-for-profit community serving older adults of all faiths and backgrounds. The Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church, along with the assistance of Merrydelle Gambrill May, began this project in the late 1970’s. Her gift of twenty five acres in far West St. Louis County helped create a legacy of providing an attractive, safe haven filled with vibrancy and value. Lifestyle options include affordable housing, private pay Independent Living apartments and licensed Assisted Living apartments. Since 1979, Gambrill Gardens has been home to thousands of residents where quality of life is key and whose values reflect the United Methodist tagline ~ open hearts, open minds, open doors. About the monument sign: Gambrill Gardens needed a new entrance monument sign and they wanted a sign that would reflect a solid permanence yet be warm and welcoming for their residents and guests. Oh, and with their location just off Manchester Rd in Ellisville, it needed to be big. A drive into Gambrill will confirm that they achieved all of that with 135 square feet of brick, stone, and custom carved and painted stucco sign. The oversized brick and concrete block tie into the other buildings on campus and the sign face is virtually maintenance free and will ensure Gambrill Gardens is a prominent landmark in the Ellisville landscape for years and years to come.
About the bus wrap: Gambrill also wanted to turn heads for those on the road so they fully wrapped their passenger bus with a beautiful scene from the actual gardens in their complex. The wrap covers virtually the entire bus – including the windows with perforated window vinyl (you can see out but they can’t see in). Landmark Sign Company helped design the wrap and uses only hi performance vehicle vinyl and laminate and certified installers to make sure the wrap looks great and stays looking great!
